Candace Drover knew from a fairly young age she had an eye for design. Her first experience in the graphic design world was a high school co-op placement at a local newspaper assisting with advertisement layout. The seed was planted. She later attended Durham College for Graphic Design and landed her first job as a graphic designer while still enrolled.
In 2004, Candace was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Throughout her treatment, she committed herself to her work, and in 2005 went into remission. She became more confident than ever that design was her path.
After working for over a decade for great employers, it was time for Candace to carve out her own piece of the graphic design world. With determination and creativity in her blood, Silverstreak Creative Design was born. This change has allowed Candace to work closer with her clients, to truly understand them and their needs, and continually fuel her muse with a diverse range of projects.
Although Candace has settled in the quiet town of Newcastle, Ontario, with her husband and daughter, she welcomes clients from across Canada and beyond. Candace will design anything produced by printing including both personal and business projects, and she’s always up for a challenge.
If you can imagine it – Candace will bring it to life.
